Sarah Chadwick wurde am 11. August 1960 geboren. Sie ist die australische Julia Roberts. Zuerst war sie Sekretärin bei Channel 9, bevor sie im Alter von 25 Jahren mit der Schauspielerei begann. Ihr Studium am National Institut of
Dramatic Arts, wo sie gemeinsam mit Christopher Stollery studierte, beendete sie 1988. Zuerst erhielt sie in der TV-Serie “G.P.” die Rolle der Dr. Cathy Mitchell, die sie 18 Monate spielte. Gleich danach spielte sie wieder eine
Ärztin, Dr. Rowie Lang, in der Serie “Die fliegenden Ärzte”. Dr. Rowie Lang kehrt nach vielen Jahren in ihre Heimat, nach Coopers Crossing, zurück und stellt sich den Leuten und ihrer Vergangenheit. Sie kämpft zunächst gegen alle
und gegen sich selbst. Besonders schwierig ist der Weg, wieder zu ihrer Familie zurück zu finden.
Nach den “fliegenden Ärzten” nahm sie die Rolle einer allein erziehenden Mutter in der Serie “Late for school” 1992 an. In dieser Serie gehörte sie zu einer Spätzünderin, die als Erwachsene nochmals zur Schule ging. Zusammen
mit dem amerikanischen Schauspieler Jimmy Smith spielte sie in dem Film “Gross Misconduct” (“Verführt - Schuldig oder nicht schuldig?”). Sie spielte weiter in dem Film “Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Dessert” (“Priscilla
- Königin der Wüste”), sowie in “Heartless” und “Something honest”. Auch in den verschiedensten Serien war Sarah zu sehen, so z. B. in “The damnation of Harvey McHugh”, “Gladrags”, “Low of the Land”, “Trackers”, “Mind power”
und “Water Rats”. In den Serien “Brides of Christ” und “Glad Rags” war
Sarah auch im deutschen TV zu sehen, ebenfalls in dem 2-Teiler “Reise zum Mittel- punkt der Erde”. Hier hatte sie allerdings nur eine sehr kleine Rolle.
Sarah hatte ebenfalls Gastrollen in “A Country Practice” und “Love Letters”. Ihr größter Wunsch war es, am Theater zu spielen. Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten ist sie heute auch dort sehr gefragt. Zusammen mit ihrem
Ehemann Harry Cripps, Autor und Regisseur, arbeitete Sarah schon an einigen Theatern. Sie stand auf der Bühne in “Talking Steps” und “Tales of a faerie called angel”. Im März 1998 wurde Sarah's Sohn Max geboren.
In “Airtight” spielte sie 1999 als Newsreader zusammen mit Andrew McFarlane und im Jahr 2001 spielte sie die Rolle der Sarah in der TV- Miniserie “Flat Chat”.

Der TV-Film “Tanya and Floyd” lief 2002 an. In der Komödie spielte sie als Tanya neben Sophie Lee. Im gleichen Jahr war sie als Deborah Sidebottan in “Bad Cop, Bad Cop” Folge “Turn me on deadman” zu
sehen. Als Karen Stoner war sie im November 2004 in der Serie “All Saints” zu bewundern. 2005 und 2006 spielte sie in der Serie “Headland” die Rolle der Diane Forbes, Vanessa Reads hieß sie in der Serie “Monarch Cove” 2006.
In “Packed to the Rafters” stand sie 2008 - 2009 in 14 Episoden als Trish Westaway neben Rebecca Gibney vor der Kamera.
2012 wird Sarah die Rolle der Luise Dixon in “Circle of lies” spielen und 2011 war sie als Justice Stanton in einer Episode der Serie “Crownies” zu sehen.

Sarah Chadwick was born on August 11th, 1960. She is the Australian Julia Roberts. First she was a secretary at Channel 9 before she started with the acting at the age of 25 years. She studied together with Christopher Stollery
at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts where she ended 1988 her studies.
At first she received the role of Dr. Cathy Mitchell in the TV series "G.P." which she played for 18 months. Just after that she played a woman doctor again, Dr. Rowie Lang, in the series "Flying Doctors". Dr. Rowie Lang came
back to her native country to Coopers Crossing after many years and faces people and their past. At first she fights against everyone and against herself.
The way again back to her family was particularly difficult. After "Flying Doctors" she accepted the role of a single parent in the series "Late for School" in 1992. In this series she belonged to an adults which went
to school again. Together with the American actor Jimmy Smith she played in the film "Gross Misconduct" ("Verführt - Schuldig oder nicht schuldig?"). She played Marion in the film "Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Dessert",
("Priscilla - Königin der Wüste"), as well as in "Heartless" and "Something honest". Also in all sorts of series Sarah could be seen, so e.g. in "The damnation of Harvey McHugh", "Gladrags", "Low of the Land", "Trackers",
"Mind power" and "Water Rats". In the series "Brides of Christ" and "Glad Rags" Sarah could be seen also in the German TV, also in the 2 factor "Journey to the center of the earth" ("Reise zum Mittelpunkt der Erde"). She
had only a little role here. Sarah also had guest roles in "A Country Practice" and in "Love Letters".
It was her greatest desire to play at the theatre. After some difficulties she is in great demand there today, too. Together with her husband Harry Cripps, author and director Sarah already worked on some theatres. She was on the stage in "Talking Steps" and "Tales of a faerie called angel".

Sarah's son Max was born in March 1998.

She played 1999 as Newsreader in "Airtight" together with Andrew McFarlane and in the year 2001 she played Sarah's role in the TV mini-series "Flat Chat". The TV film "Tanya and Floyd" was going at 2002. In this comedy she played the role of Tanya next to Sophie Lee. In the same year she was seen as Deborah Sidebottan in "Bad Cop, Bad Cop" in the episode "Turn me on deadman". As Karen Stoner she had to be admired in the series "All Saints" in
November 2004. In 2005 and in 2006 she played the role of the Diane Forbes in the series "Headland". She was called Vanessa Reads in the series "Monarch Cove" in 2006. She was 2008 - 2009 in 14 episodes as Trish Westaway next to Rebecca Gibney in front of the camera in "Packed to the Rafters".
2012 Sarah plays Luise Dixon in “Circle of lies” and was 2011 seen in “Crownies” as Justice Stanton for one episode.
