Nikki Coghill wurde am 4. Januar 1964 in Melbourne geboren. Sie studierte zunächst Tanz am Victorian College of the Arts und war als Tänzerin an der “Australian Opera” und “The Australian Contemporary Dance Company”. Sie
hat den Bachelor of Arts Degree von der Universität von Melbourne.
Nikki startete ihre Schauspielkarriere u. a. 1982 in der TV-Serie “Sons and
daughters” als Nikki Holland, 1983 spielte sie in der Serie “Starting out” die Margot Fallon-Smith, in “A fortunate life” war sie 1985 als Evelyn zu sehen, 1986 in “Playing Beatie Bow” als Dovey, sowie als Vivienne in der TV-Serie
“Sword of honour”. 1987 war für Nikki ein sehr erfolgreiches Jahr. Da war sie in “The Time Guardian”, hier unter “Wächter der Zukunft” bekannt, als Annie Lassiter zu sehen. Sie spielte in “Rock`n´Roll Cowboys” mit, die Cathy Pope
spielte sie in “Dark Age”, bei uns als “Crocodile Hunter” bekannt, und in “Running from the guns” stellte sie sich als Jill vor. In den kommenden Jahren war sie nicht untätig. Eine interessante Rolle hatte sie 1990 zunächst in der
Serie “All the rivers run”.

Sie ersetzte in der 2. Staffel Sigrid Thornton und spielte die weibliche Hauptrolle Daley. Diese Serie lief in Australien unter dem Titel “Daley und Brenton”.
Dann trat sie, 1990 - 1991, zusammen mit David Reyne (Dr. Guy Reid), in die Serie “Die fliegenden Ärzte” in der Rolle der Schwester Jackie Crane vor die Kamera. Sie spielte bereits 1986 eine Gastrolle in der Episode “Die LondonSydney-Rallye”. Sie nahm ihre Rolle sehr ernst und unterhielt sich mit vielen Pflegerinnen und arbeitete sogar beim RFDS in Broken Hill als Praktikantin.
Als Schwester Jackie ist sie eine moderne, unabhängige Frau, selbstsicher und verstand sich mit jedem. Sie ist gerne im Outback, wenn da nicht Dr. Guy Reid wäre. Am Anfang sind sie wie Hund und Katze, haben dann aber doch eine
Romanze, die jedoch nicht ohne Probleme abläuft. In vielen weiteren Rollen war Nikki zu bewundern. So spielte sie eine Gastrolle in der Serie “Hey Dad” und als Katherine Vickers 1993 in “Time Trax”, sowie
in “The Bob Morrison Show” die Lizzy Morrison. Auch am Theater war Nikki eine viel beschäftigte Schauspielerin. In “Thunderstone” stellte sie sich 1999 - 2000 als Liz Daniels vor. 2002 war sie als Gabi Harding in der Dauer-Serie
“McLeod´s Daughters”, in der Episode “Blame it on the moonlight”, mit von der Partie und in der Fantasy-Serie “Guinevere Jones” sah man sie als Faerie Queen.
Nikki Coghill heiratete 1993 und hat inzwischen zwei Töchter, Elly und Hayley. In dieser Zeit war Nikki hauptsächlich mit Synchronisieren beschäftigt.
In der Serie ohne Ende “Neighbours” ist sie seit Juli 2007 als Miranda Parker zu sehen. 2009 stieg Nikki aus der Serie aus. Nikki zeigte sich in der Folge `Flight risk´ der Erfolgsserie “City Homicide” als Heather Worthington.
2013 war Nikki in der TV-Serie “It`s a date” als Pauline zu sehen.

Zukunft". She joined in in "Rock 'n' Roll cowboys", played Cathy Pope in "Dark Age", known with us as "Crocodile Hunter", and she imagined in "Running from the guns" as Jill. Within the next years she was not idle. At first
an interesting role she had in the series "All the rivers run" in 1990. She took off Sigrid Thornton in the 2nd echelon and played the female leading role Daley. This series ran under the title "Daley and Brenton" in Australia.
Together with David Reyne (Dr. Guy Reid), then she stood 1990 - 1991 in the series "Flying doctors" in the role of the nurse Jackie Crane in front of the camera. She played a guest role already 1986 in the episode "Rally to the
cause" (here "Die London-Sydney Rallye"). She took her role very seriously and talked much with nurses and even worked for the RFDS in Broken Hill as a trainee. As nurse Jackie she is a modern, independent woman, self-assured
and got on with everybody. She liked to be in the Outback if Dr. Guy Reid were not there. At the beginning they are like cat and dog, then have a romance anyway which, however, does not go off without problems.
In many further roles Nikki was to be admired. So she played one guest role in the series "Hey Dad" and as Katherine Vickers 1993 into "Time Trax", as well as in "The Bob Morrison Show" Lizzy Morrison. Nikki was an actress which
was also much busy at the theatre. She was seen in 1999 - 2000 as Liz Daniels in "Thunderstone". In 2002 she did in the duration series "McLeod's Daughters" the part of Gabi Harding in the episode "Blame it on the
moonlight". One saw her as Faerie Queen in the fantasy series "Guinevere Jones".
Nikki Coghill married in 1993 and has meanwhile two daughters, Elly and Hayley. Nikki was busy with synchronizing chiefly at this time. In the series without end, "Neighbours", she could be admired as Miranda Parker since July 2007. Nikki leave “Neighbours” 2009 to be free for other parts. Nikki
was seen in the “City Homicide”- episode `Flight risk´ as Heather Worthington.

2013 Nikki was seen as Pauline in the TV-series "It`s a date".
