Louise Siversen wurde am 25. Mai 1960 in Melbourne geboren. Sie hat eine um-fangreiche Schauspielausbildung genossen: Melbourne Theater Company, National Theatre Company, St. Martins Youth Theatre, Australian College of Entertainers, Classical and Jazz Ballet. Sie ist seit 1983 mit Theo verheiratet. Das Paar lebt in Melbourne.

Aufgrund ihrer Ausbildung ist es verständlich, dass Louise am Theater, im Fern- sehen, Radio und im Film zu Hause ist. Bevor sie Schauspielerin wurde studierte   sie auf Wunsch ihres Vaters Rechtswissenschaften. Der Wunsch, Schauspielerin zu werden, war jedoch viel stärker und sie setzte ihn in die Tat um, zum Glück  für uns.

Neben vielen Theaterengagements war Louise auch in vielen Gastrollen im Fern- sehen zu sehen. So z. B. in “Skyways”, “Cop Shop”, “Carson’s Law”, “Special Squad”, “The Sullivans”. In der TV-Serie “Prisoner” spielte sie von 1984 bis 1986 die Rolle der Lou Kelly. Mit der Rolle wurde sie in Australien zu einer der be- liebtesten Schauspielerinnen. 1986 begann auch ihre Rolle der Pilotin Debbie O’Brien, bis zum Ausscheiden aus der Serie 1989. Sie war bei den “Fliegenden Ärzten” immer wieder als Vertretung der Piloten gerne gesehen. Schließlich durfte sie aufgrund eines Unfalles den Beruf der Pilotin (in ihrer Rolle) nicht mehr ausüben und schied damit leider aus der Serie aus.

Es folgten 1988 Gastrollen in “The Bartons” und “A cry in the dark” und “Neighbours”. In “Sugar and Spice” spielte sie die Rolle der Mrs. Robertson, in “House Rules” die der Elsa Nixon, in “Chances” spielte sie Cheryl. Des Weiteren war sie im Fernsehen zu sehen, u. a. in “Kelly”, im Pilotfilm “In House”, in    “The Dam- nation of Harvey McHugh” als Annette, in “Janus” als Glenda de Bono, in “Law of the Land 2” als Lynne Ranger. Auch in den Filmen “Slice of life”, “Evil Angels”  und “That eye the sky” sowie in “Houseboat Horror” als Zelia, und in “Lost” und “Shine” war sie zu sehen.

In der Serie Halifax f.p. stand sie neben Rebecca Gibney vor der Kamera, 1994 in “Wahnsinn mit Methode” als Beth Hartley und 1997 als Linda Quinn in “Déjà vu”, 2000 in der Episode “A hate worse than death”, wo sie wieder die Rolle der Linda Quinn spielte. Weitere Gastrollen hatte Louise in “Mercury”, “The Adventures of Lano and Woodley”, “State Coroner”, “Good Guys Bad Guys”, “The Crash Zone”. Ebenfalls 1998 spielte Louise in “Crackers” eine Lehrerin und in der Serie “The Games” konnte man sie als Jasmin Holt sehen. 1999 spielte sie in der TV-Show “Back Berner” als Moderatorin mit den brillantesten Komödianten des Landes. Daneben hatte sie 1999 auch Gastrollen in “Stingers” als Senior Detective Rawlins und “Driven Crazy” als Daisy, gefolgt von “Eugenie Sandler P.I” als Winsome Bedford.

Im August 1997 kam Louise Siversen nach 12 Monaten in Indien, Bali und New  York wieder nach Australien zurück. Sie teilte dies in einem Brief dem Fanclub    mit, bevor ihre Arbeit bei “Halifax f.p.” begann. Wenn Louise nicht als Schau- spielerin arbeitet, lehrt sie “Schauspiel”, schreibt selbst Stücke, liebt es zu lesen  und zu reisen, bevorzugt Wein und praktiziert Yoga. Sie mag alternative Heil- methoden wie Aromatherapie, Kinesiology und sie ist eine qualifizierte Blumen- essenz-Therapeutin. Ihr größter Wunsch ist es, als Schauspielerin in England zu arbeiten.

2002 hat sie in der Mini-Serie “Bootleg” die Rolle der Mrs. Spring gespielt. Außerdem spielte sie in der Comedy “Josh Jarman” mit und in der TV-Serie         von 2005 “MDA” als Meg Morrissen. Louise spielte ebenfalls in den Serien

“City Homicide”, “All Saints”, “Four of a kind” und “Rush” mit.

Seit 2012 spielt Louise in “House Husbands” Miss Looby und Rosemary Morrisey  in der Serie “The Doctor Blake Mysteries”. 2013 drehte Louise den Kurzfilm  “The Kingdom of Doug”, in der sie die Mary-Anne spielt.

Due to her education it is understandable that Louise is at home at the theatre, TV, radio in the film. She studied jurisprudences on request of her father before she became an actress. The desire to become an actress was, however, much stronger  and she put it into the deed around, fortunately  for us.

Besides many theatre engagements Louise could be seen also in many guest roles, so e.g. in "Skyways", "Cop Shop", "Carson's Law", "Special Squad", "The Sullivans". In the TV series "Prisoner" she played the role the Lou Kelly from 1984 to 1986. With this role she became one of the most popular actresses in Australia. 1986 her role also started with the pilot's Debbie O' Brien up to the retirement from the series 1989. Again and again, it was seen with pleasure as a representation of  the pilots with "Flying Doctors". It finally was not allowed to practise the profession of the pilot due to an accident (in her role) any more and thus unfortunately, left the series.

It followed 1988 guest roles in "The Bartons" and "A cry in the dark" and "Neigh- bours". She played the role of the Mrs. Robertson in "Sugar and Spice". In "House Rules" she played the part of Elsa Nixon Cheryl, that one she was in "Chances". Furthermore it could be seen on television, e.g. in "Kelly", in the pilot programme  "In House", in "The Damnation of Harvey McHugh" as Annette, in "Janus" as   Glenda de Bono, in " Law of the Land" as Lynne Ranger. She could be seen also      in the films "Slice of life", "Evil Angels", and "That eye the sky" as well as in "Houseboat horror" as Zelia and in "Lost" and "Shine".

She played next to Rebecca Gibney 1994 in the TV series "Halifax f.p." in the episode `Lies of the Mind´ as Beth Hartley, in 1997 in `Dèjá vu´ as Linda Quinn, 2000 in the episode `A hate worse than death´ Linda Quinn again in front of the camera. Also Louise played a teacher in "Crackers" in 1998 and in the series "The Games" one could consider her a Jasmin Holt. 1999 she played in the TV Show "Bake Berner" a presenter with the most brilliant play-actors of the country. Besides that she also    had followed guest roles in "Stingers" as Senior Detective Rawlins and "Driven Crazy" as Daisy, followed of "Eugenie Sandler P.I" as Winsome Bedford in 1999.

Louise Siversen came back again to Australia after 12 months being in India, Bali  and New York in August 1997. She informed the club about it in a letter before her work started at "Halifax f.p.". If Louise does not work as an actress, she teaches it "play", writes pieces herself, loves to read and to travel, prefers wine and practises Yoga. She likes alternative cures like aromatherapy, cinesiology and she is a quali- fied flower essence therapist. It is her greatest desire to work as an actress in England.

 She has the role of the Mrs Springs in the mini-series "Bootleg" played in 2002.      In addition, she played in the comedy "Josh Jarman" and in the TV series of 2005 "MDA" with as Meg Morrissen. Louise also played in the series "City Homicide", "All Saints", "Four of a child" and "Rush".
