Christopher Stollery wurde am 12. August 1965 geboren und hat 6 Geschwister. Im Alter von 9 Jahren verlor er seinen Vater. Nach Beendigung seiner Schulzeit studierte er am National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA). In dieser Zeit war Sarah Chadwick seine Studienkollegin. 1987 beendete er sein Studium erfolgreich.

Seine ersten Sporen verdiente er beim Theater. Chris` Vorliebe galt Shakespeare-Aufführungen, deren Charakterrollen ihn positiv förderten. Die erste TV-Rolle bekam er in der Serie “Errol Flynn”. Christopher spielte u. a.
mit in “Rafferty’s Rules”, “A Country Practice” und “Girl from tomorrow”.
1990 traf Chris auf die “fliegenden Ärzte”. Er war bis zum Ende der Serie der neue, ständige Pilot Johnno Johnson. In der Serie bandelte Johnno mit Dr. Rowie Lang an und sie wollten sogar heiraten. Aber Rowie sagte die Hochzeit am Trauungstag ab, sie blieben jedoch gute Freunde. Auch im wirklichen Leben war es so ähnlich. Während der Dreharbeiten lernte er Lenore Smith näher kennen und sie wurden ein Paar. Leider endete diese Liebe genau wie in der Serie, Chris und Lenore trennten sich, sind heute noch gute Freunde.
Seit seiner Rolle als Johnno bei den “Flying Docs” gewann Christopher Stollery ständig an Popularität. Christopher erhielt 1991 in “Chances” seine Chance als Ben Taylor. In “Cody: The Burnout” sah man ihn 1995 als Gavin Warner vor der Kamera. Er bekam in der Serie “State Coroner” eine Hauptrolle, er spielte von 1996 bis 1998 den Part des Sergeant Dermot McLeod. In dieser Serie waren auch immer wieder Schauspielkollegen der fliegenden Ärzten dabei. Weitere Rollen hatte Chris 1997 als Angus Galloway in “Big Sky”. Im gleichen Jahr stellte er sich als Adam Murch in “Murder Call” vor. Aber auch als Regisseur ist Chris sehr beschäftigt, so in einer Produktion mit Sarah Chadwick`s Ehemann.
Das Theater ist immer wieder eine Herausforderung für Chris und wird es bleiben. So stand er 1999 als Hjalmar Ekdal in ”The wild duck” erfolgreich auf der Bühne. “Water Rats” war 1999 für ihn als Jacob Solomon ein Muss. 2001
spielte er die Rolle des Walsh in der TV-Miniserie “The Farm” und in der Komödie “WillFull” als Giff mit. In “Baggage Claim” sah man ihn 2002 als James. Ende 2003 kam Christopher in der Rolle des Dan Hughes in “White
Collar Blue” auf die Fernsehschirme. “The rage in Placid Lake” bot Chris die Rolle des Joel an. 2004 war ein gutes Jahr für ihn. Er war in dem TV-Film “Maiden Voyage” als Damien Morse zu sehen und in “The Alice” spielte er
Connor Gregory und wir konnten ihn in der Rolle des Everingham in der MiniSerie “Through my eyes” sehen. Im Jahr darauf sah man ihn als Nick Homer in “A divided heart”. 2007 gehörte er, neben Robert Grubb, als Paul White zu den
“Bastard Boys”. In der Serie “Sea Patrol” spielte Chris die bedeutende Rolle des Federal Agent Greg Murphy. 2009 stieg er erneut als Ken Bracey in die Serie “All Saints” ein. Auch “Packed to the Rafters” zeigte ihn, in der Rolle des
Simon Radic.
Privat liebt Christoper Stollery das Fotografieren und Pianospielen. Er hört am liebsten Musik von Mozart, Peter Gabriel und Crowed House. Er ist ein sehr natürlicher, normaler Mensch geblieben, der auch mal mit dem Rucksack auf Reisen geht.
In der TV-Serie “The Pacific” (Episode `Home´) spielte Christopher Stollery 2010 Catherine´s Ehemann. Und in “Stay Awake” den Daniel. 

2011 spielte Christopher in “Julian” Mr. Dexter, in fünf Episoden von “James
Fife” übernahm er die Rolle des James Fife. Außerdem war er in drei Episoden
von “Spirited” als Aaron zu sehen.
2012 war auch ein großes Jahr für seine deutschen Fans. Denn sie konnten Christopher in der Aufführung “"Groß und Klein" bei den Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen an der Seite von Cate Blanchett sehen.
2012 spielte Christopher in "Nick & Seaton's Palace of Sexy Secrets" in der Episode “Sex, Secrets & Interviews’ “ den Interviewer. Einen Interviewer wird er auch 2014 in der Produktion “Predestination” spielen. Eine Nebenrolle spielte
er in dem Film “Love of my life” - in dem Peter O`Brien eine Hauptrolle spielt.
2013 war Christopher einige Zeit in “Home and Away” als Murray Granger zu
sehen. 2014 war er u. a. in “Devil`s Playground”, “The Moodys” und in “Terminus” zu sehen.

2015 stand Christopher in dem Theaterstück “Daylight Saving” auf der Bühne.

Chris met the "Flying Doctors" in 1990. He was the new, permanent pilot Johnno Johnson until end of the series. In the series Johnno fall in love with Dr. Rowie Lang and even he wanted to get married her to. But Rowie cancelled the
wedding on the marriage ceremony day, both remained however good friends.
Also in the actual life it was so similar. During the shooting he got to know Lenore Smith better and they became a couple. Unfortunately, this love ended exactly like in the series, Chris and Lenore parted, are good friends till today.
Since his role as Johnno at "The Flying Docs" Christopher Stollery permanently won at popularity. Christopher got his chance as Ben Taylor into "Chance" in 1991. In "Cody: The Burnout" One could see him as Gavin Warner in 1995 in
front of the camera. He got a leading role in the series "State Coroner", he played the part of Sergeant Dermot McLeod from 1996 to 1998. Play colleagues of The Flying Doctors were in this series again and again, too. Chris
1997 had a further role than as Angus Galloway in "Big Sky". In the same year he intro- duced himself as Adam Murch in "Murder Call". But, Chris is also very employ- ed as a director in a production with Sarah Chadwick's
husband. The theatre will be all time a challenge for Chris again and again. So he stood 1999 as Hjalmar Ekdal in "The wild duck" successfully on the stage.
"Water Rats" was in 1999 for Chris as Jacob Solomon absolutely must. He played the role of Walsh in the TV small series "The Farm" and in the comedy "Will Full" as Giff in 2001. One saw him 2002 as James in "Baggage Claim".
Christopher came in "White Collar Blue" in the role of the Dan Hughes on the TV at the end of 2003. "The rage in Placid Lake" offered Chris Joel's role. 2004 was a good year for him. He was seen in the TV film "Maiden Voyage" as
Damien Morse and he played Connor Gregory in "The Alice" and we could see him in the role of Everingham in the mini-series "Through my eyes". In the year on this we saw him as Nick Homer in "A divided heart". He belonged next to Robert Grubb as Paul White to the "Bastard Boys" in 2007. In the series "Sea Patrol" Chris played the important role of the Federal Agent Greg Murphy. He got in into the series "All Saints" as Ken Bracey once more in 2009. "Packed to the Rafters" also showed him in the role of Simon Radic.
Christopher Stollery privately loves taking photographs and playing piano. Heloves to listen best of all music of Mozart, Peter Gabriel and Crowed House.
He has remained a very natural, normal person who goes with the rucksack
on a journey, too.

in the movie "Love of my life" - in which Peter O`Brien plays a major role.
2013 Christopher was seen in a few episodes in "Home and Away" as Murray Granger. 2014 he was seen for example in "Devil's Playground", "The Moody's" and "Terminus".
